Pumaspeed M140i & M240i Tuning
The straight six Twinscroll turbo B58 3.0 engine is one of the most impressive and tunable power units BMW have ever produced. Found in all x40i BMW models including the M140i and M240i and the new Toyota Supra, this fantastic engine has so much potential that the standard 335bhp and 500nm are hugely improved upon with even the lightest of modifications.
With the right upgrades these B58 powered cars can become true supercar rivals with over 500bhp being easily reached on stock internals, crazy in such a small and lightweight package!
We are delighted to offer our X37 and X49R turbos for the B58 platform, these turbos are designed to be as close as possible to the stock turbo spool range whilst offering a considerable jump up in power vs the standard unit. Please see below for details

Our first BMW development vehicle is fitted with this fantastic engine, we already have developed both Stage 1 and Stage 2 MAXD-Out remaps with the relevant hardware on our M240i. We have now taken the car one step further with our X-Series hybrid turbo and Stage 3 MAXD-Out mapping, resulting in well over 500bhp.
We have also now started stocking the Vargas range. We sell the GC and the GC+ turbochargers, taking your B58 to a huge 550bhp-580bhp with the GC on a standard engine and the upgraded B58tu fuel pump and upgraded hardware to match. And the mighty GC+ with newly cast manifold can achieve a HUGE 700bhp with the Dorch Stage 2+ fuel pump and a forged engine such as our exclusive B58R.
There's some serious engineering in the Vargas range, Mar-M 246 aero engineered compressor wheels with point-milled blades to maximise air flow and also eliminate compressor surge. Completely new cast units with 3 inch inlet elbow and optional install kit. GC standing for "game changer", this is a very suitable name for this turbo range.
