M2 Competition (S55)
The M2 Competition: 425hp from the factory, 550bhp on the stock engine.
The M2 Competition has the S55 B30, a 3.0 inline-six built with the M3 and M4 in mind. Standard output is 425hp, it is a very tuneable unit, and because the engine was already in the F80 M3 and F82 M4 before the M2 Competition arrived, there are plenty of proven upgrades to choose from.
From BM3 software to Vargas and Pure turbos
With the right upgrades these S55-powered cars become extremely potent rivals to the likes of supercars, with over 550bhp possible on the stock engine.
