Pumaspeed have had incredible success with the X-Series turbos in the Ford tuning market with well over 1700 units sold over various EcoBoost platforms.
As Pumaspeed is expanding into the BMW tuning world the next logical step for the X-Series turbo brand is to follow suit, and where better to start than the incredible B58 platform found in all M140i, M240i, 340i and 440i models.

Many of the turbos on the market today are manufactured with an obsession of ultimate peak power figures, the manufacturers forget about turbo spool times and all important drivability. The Fantastic Pumaspeed B58 X49R Quickspool turbo takes a step backwards from crazy peak power figures and offers an OEM+ driving experience with devastating early Spool times and upto 600 bhp performance figures. The graphs below show just whats achievable with correct fuel and boost levels. So if you are happy with 550-600 bhp and want early spool and gut wrenching torque from as low as the stock turbo an give then look no farther than the Pumaspeed X Series turbos.

Please note, to gain the most power out of our X49R turbo for the B58 BMW you will need to be running the Dorch Engineering Stage 2 fuel pump, if you plan on running the B58TU or Dorch Engineering Stage 1, power figures may be lower due to the lower fuelling capacity of these pumps as shown below in our Dyno testing.

We are that confident in our X-Series turbos that we offer a limited 1 year warranty on the B58 X49R unit.

This is an Exchange Unit listing which requires you to send in your stock turbo and manifold to us. 

If you cannot send your stock turbo in before hand or don't want the downtime of your car being off the road we have a solution, a £1350 refundable deposit can be applied at checkout which means you keep your stock turbo on the car until you receive your X37, at this point you can either return your stock turbo to us which once inspected will qualify you for your deposit to be refunded or you can simply keep your stock turbo. The stock turbo must be returned within 2 months to qualify for the deposit to be refunded.

Please note: The X49R is currently manufactured to order and will typically take 2-3 days for delivery, we do try to keep one unit on the shelf but please call to check stock levels.
