We understand how daunting it can be selecting the correct spark plugs or induction kit for your car so we have simplified this PS440 package deal with our recommendations below.

The options explained:

Air Filter - The standard airbox is perfectly capable of coping with the air flow demands of the PS440 mapping, the standard air filter however is identical throughout the petrol BMW range and a high flow panel filter really lets your B58 engine breathe. As with anything there are good and bad panel filters, and since this is your engines only way of breathing fresh air, it makes sense to go for the best on the market. An induction kit such as the MST or Osprey kits take this one step further by replacing the restrictive airbox connecting pipe, ideal for upgrading to stage 2 and beyond at a later date. Pumaspeed Recommends: ITG Pro Panel Filter.

Remapping - The hot topic on every BMW owners mind, which mapping is best for me and my car? Ultimately it's a very straight forward question to answer, MAXD mapping consistently outperforms it's competitors in all aspects. With this PS440 calibration you will see up to 440bhp and 570nm of torque, huge gains for minimal hardware changes! These figures are backed up by over 5 years of B58 engine development work, independent dyno results and fantastic customer reviews. 

The MAXD PS440 gives you the flexibility to customise your calibration to your requirements. By default we include GTS startup roar, recalibrated sport displays, cold start delete and top speed limiter removal. We can by request remove any of these features for an additional cost. You also have the option of recalibrating overrun/crackle for your PS440 map, simply lift off the throttle for a much more enthusiastic exhaust note, without harming your stock catalyst. Pumaspeed recommends: MAXD.
