Trade Accounts
We split the margin with you. That is the whole deal.
Pumaspeed supplies garages, tuners and retailers across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world with the parts we develop, the brands we distribute and the stock we hold. No token percentages, no games: on every brand we carry, trade accounts receive half of our margin.
Stock, not promises: brand new Ford Performance 2.3 crate engines palletised at Pumaspeed, ready to ship to the trade.
How our trade pricing works
Most suppliers hand the trade a flat few percent and call it a discount. We do it differently, and we have done it the same way for years. Every brand we carry has a margin between what we buy it for and what it sells for at retail. A Pumaspeed trade account gets half of that margin on every single line, which means the better our buying terms are on a brand, the better your price is on it too. Brands we buy particularly well, Milltek Sport among them, are where trade accounts do best.
Because the share is worked out per brand rather than as one blanket figure, you always know exactly where you stand: your terms are set on your account, every quote and order we raise for you comes through at your price automatically, and there is nothing to negotiate line by line. Our own Pumaspeed, R-Sport and MAXD products are built and stocked here in Wakefield and distributed to the trade on the same basis.
What you can buy from us
- Pumaspeed tuning packages and hybrid turbos: the Stage 1R, 2R and 3R kits and the X-26, X-37, X-47 and X-49 turbochargers that the EcoBoost scene is built on, developed and dyno-proven on our own cars.
- R-Sport hardware: intercoolers, hard-pipe kits, induction, big brake kits and the supporting parts that make a stage package work.
- Milltek Sport: Pumaspeed has worked with Milltek since 1999 and ships Milltek Sport exhaust systems to the trade in the UK and worldwide, from a single cat-back to a pallet.
- The brands your customers ask for: Eibach, KW, Bilstein, AP coilovers, Powerflex, Scorpion, EBC, Maxton Design, Turbosmart, K&N and more, all on the same margin-share terms.
- Engines: brand new Ford crate and service engines held in bulk stock, plus forged, built-to-spec units for the big-power builds.
- Calibration: MAXD tuning devices and our own calibrations, so you can offer your customers a complete fitted and mapped package.
Despatch and delivery
Fifty to sixty orders leave our Wakefield despatch every working day. In-stock parts go out on next-working-day courier services for UK mainland addresses, export orders travel express with DHL, and exhaust systems, engines and bulk orders go out on pallets through our pallet network. If you want an order sent straight to your customer, tell us when you order and we will ship it direct. For deliveries outside the UK the VAT comes off automatically; EU businesses just need their VAT or EORI number on the account.
Hybrid turbos are supplied to the trade on an exchange basis: you receive a fully built unit straight away and a refundable core surcharge sits on the invoice until your customer's original turbo comes back to us. Put the old unit on the next parcel and the surcharge is credited.
Technical back-up that sells for you
Buying from the people who develop the parts means you are never on your own with a tricky fitment question. Our workshop fits everything we sell, so when your technician rings with a question about an X-47 install or which intercooler suits a Mk8 Fiesta ST, the answer comes from someone who did the same job last week. Dealer pricing comes with that support included.
How to open an account
Trade accounts are vetted, because the margin share only works if it goes to businesses that are fitting and selling the parts. Fill in the registration form with your company details and VAT number, tell us a little about what you do, and our trade team will come back to you.
