Who it is for The top of the ladder. Full-spec ZRP billet crank with no balance shaft gears, Piper Stage 2 cams, H/D valve springs, ARP head and main studs and a Stage 1 ported cylinder head, all on the new closed-deck block. For builds where the head was the last restriction.

What goes into a SPEC C+

Brand-name internals only. No unbranded pistons, no mystery rods.

Brand new Ford 2.0 closed-deck block The stronger semi-closed-deck casting with the 2.3 crank and pistons inside. 2.3 capacity on a block that takes the cylinder pressure.	ZRP full-spec billet 2.3 crankshaft Solid billet in place of the cast Ford crank, and full-spec: no balance shaft gears, micro-polished journals, counterweights cut for faster response. ZRP rate it to rev past 8,000. The part that lets Spec C live at 650 bhp plus.
Stage 1 ported cylinder head Fully rebuilt 2.3 head with Stage 1 porting by Devil Developments for the airflow a 650 bhp plus turbo needs.	Mahle Motorsport forged pistons Stock compression ratio, standard bore. The pistons the big-power 2.3 builds are made on. Rings gapped and documented.
ZRP I-beam connecting rods Forged I-beam rods with ARP rod bolts. Devil Developments has taken this piston and rod combination past 750 bhp.	Piper Stage 2 cams + H/D valve springs Piper Stage 2 camshafts with heavy-duty valve springs. The top-end package for 650 bhp plus.

Delivery is typically £100 within the UK. Or we fit it at our Wakefield workshop: 15 hours labour, shown as the Fully Fitted price above, including 10W/60 oil and genuine filter, coolant, gasket kit and rear main seal, Denso iridium plugs and a 500 mile oil change and check. An extra surcharge applies if your old engine has serious block, crank or head damage.
