MAXD Stage 2R Focus ST Diesel Remap - Pumaspeed Remaps

The Mk3 generation of Focus ST Diesel is ripe for tuning straight out of the box. With a completely standard ST Diesel running good quality fuel we have seen up to 235bhp and 490nm!

With some simple breathing modifications such as DPF delete and intercooler, our 2R calibration can see even greater figures with up to 250bhp and 520nm on tap, incredible numbers for such a small outlay.

This MAXD Stage 2R workshop fitted remap is designed to run with the a DPF delete in place with additional hardware such as the R-Sport Stage 3 Intercooler to produce up to 250bhp (Yes - that's 250 bhp on a stock turbo!). We recommend good fuel only for Pumaspeed R spec maps, however if you only have access to supermarket fuel, no problem, we can simply offer a slightly milder stage 2 file with a 5-10bhp and 10-15nm reduction to suit the lower quality fuel.

 

What if I can't visit Pumaspeed HQ?

No problem, we can now supply this new mapping via mail order on our MAXD Flash Programmer meaning you can remap your ST Diesel to our incredible 2R calibration anywhere in the world. 

 

Is it safe for my car?

There are very few remaps on the market today that have this sort or performance and also all the Ford OE built in safety features still included, for instance the stock boost level is around 1.75 BAR and the MAXD map only lifts that to around 1.95 BAR. This 2R calibration is running on hundreds of cars now, with some over 100,000 miles on the clock with out issue, we pride ourselves on offering not only fantastic performance, but also a great reliability record.

 

ST Diesel tunes available from MAXD:

Stage 1R - Up to 235bhp with no or minimal hardware modifications, a more aggressive higher torque calibration, a perfect addition giving incredible gains in power, torque and economy.

Stage 2R - Up to 250bhp with minor bolt on hardware upgrades including intercooler and DPF delete. A very well mannered drive with a lovely hit of torque and a smooth progressive lift in power. Dwarfing the competition and giving you the full potential of the standard turbo when used with the full list of simple bolt on parts.

Stage 3R - Up to 280bhp with the Pumaspeed X37 hybrid turbo and all available bolt on hardware. The most powerful hybrid turbo mapping available with total reliability day-to-day, and perfect low rev manners, with almost 50 turbos sold world wide, you are in great company with this setup. 

Stock - MAXD have a database of stock original equipment files, these are available on request.
 

What do we do and how long does the ST Diesel 2R remap take?

We plug into your vehicles OBD port and read the stock ECU data, we then update your specific ECU data with the new MAXD Stage 2R and import it back into your ECU via the OBD port again. All this is usually completed within the hour in house.
 

What's after the Stage 2 Remap?

We have a Stage 3 remap that has been developed specifically for use with many other hardware modifications such as the X37 hybrid turbo, R-Sport intercooler, plus exhaust system. The more powerful Stage 3 remap will max out all the breathing and exhaust modifications, and push the hybrid turbo as far as we believe is safe for this very small unit (around 280 bhp).
