PUMASPEED - The Home of Puma ST Tuning
As our name suggests, 'Pumaspeed', we just had to get our hands on and do a little good with the brand new Puma ST.
Our main exhaust partner Milltek kindly lent us their own Puma ST development car for us to work our magic on.
As this new car is based on the same platform and engine as the Fiesta ST we didn't think it would take much time in transferring all the data from our astonishing Mk8 ST Stage 1R calibration over to the Puma's slightly updated ECU. After a long dyno and test session to perfect the remap MAXD placed the torque at a safe level of just under 380nm and the power for stage 1R at a repeatable 245-255bhp, remember these figures are from a stock car fitted with just a GPF back exhaust!
The initial impressions of the car on the road are quite astonishing, the mid range pull will blow your socks off and the driveabilty is far better than the original calibration.
Since the release of the 1.5 Dragon engine platform release in 2018 we have already owned multiple ST Mk8s and each one has been developed and developed again. We've had stage 1, stage 2, stage 3 with hybrid turbos that have produced upto an incredible 315bhp. In 2022 we are proud to be the only company in the world currently offering all 3 stages of mapping, plus all the proven supporting hardware.
