Fiesta ST300R: Stage 3R goes to Santa Pod, then to the track.
Not content with having the fastest stock-turbo Fiesta on the Santa Pod drag strip, Pumaspeed took the next step and fitted the next modifications on the list to the M444XDD demo car: the class-leading X-27 hybrid turbo and the state-of-the-art QuickSpool tubular manifold. A quick trip to MAXD custom tuning HQ for the new Stage 3R remap, and the Pumaspeed MAXD-OUT 300R was born.
Santa Pod: a new record in the wet
Santa Pod was again the destination, with a target of beating the 13.75-second quarter mile. The first run of the day, with a passenger and a full tank of fuel, came up with a new record of 13.4 seconds, beating the previous 245R time by 0.35 seconds. After the next run, again with passengers, the weather turned to rain and that was the end of the day for everyone. Pumaspeed believe the combination of the new MAXD Stage 3R mapping and the additional hardware can take the car under the magic 13-second barrier.

Not happy with the Santa Pod weekend, Pumaspeed took the M444XDD red Fiesta 300R to where it belongs. A track day was booked at Blyton Park and, very confident in the software, the Pumaspeed-equipped pocket rocket was sent out with novice 18-year-old Daniel at the wheel.
