The Pumaspeed and X47 names are synonymous with making power. Since we have our very own i30N, it would be rude to not offer a turbo suitable to run 420bhp.

The basic dynamics of the stock turbo prohibit any more serious power production after 330bhp, in our software testing and data-logging we were able to make 1.3 bar boost as low as 1800 rpm which is amazing but at high rpm the flow simply back logs after 5500 rpm. The simple facts are that the exhaust wheel diameter is simply not large enough to flow any more without creating excessive back pressure within the exhaust manifold.

The only way to jump into the big 350 plus numbers is to do what we have done best with the Fiesta ST180 X47 turbocharger series (which has now sold over 950 examples) and increase efficiency. To do this we simply increase the size of the exhaust wheel and add a larger compressor wheel to pump more air through the motor, leading to more power, and more torque. 

The unit features all the regular X47 upgrades:

– 9 Blade Billet Compressor Wheel 67mm
– High Flow 9 Blade Turbine Wheel 45.7/52.5mm
– CNC-Machined Compressor Housing
– CNC-Machined Turbine Housing
– High Speed Balancing

It suits all 250PS and 275PS models
