WOSSNER FORGED PISTONS AND RODS FOR THE 1.6 ECOBOOST FIESTA ST180

The EcoBoost 1.6 Motor has a very robust construction, the OE pistons and rods have been run at over 350bhp on occasion and they have stood up to punishment. This set of Wossner Pistons and Rods will allow the 1.6 EcoBoost to push beyond that mark with ease. 

In high boost and high load testing, Pumaspeed have seen the failure of the lower ring skirt, installing this build kit would ensure reliability moving forwards, and the ability to rev over 8000rpm when paired with the correct hardware. Both the pistons and rods are manufactured by Wossner from extruded high-silicone, enhanced 4032 alloy (with additional Cu, Ni, and Mg) that has low thermal expansion, which is excellent for wear resistance and higher thermal conductivity.
