A good used genuine Ford 1.6 EcoBoost crankshaft that has been fully checked and polished, not reground, so every main and big end journal is still standard factory size. That means standard size bearings, no undersize shells and no guesswork when you build the engine. It is the ideal replacement crank for a 1.6 EcoBoost rebuild or forged engine build on a Fiesta ST180, Focus 1.6 EcoBoost or any other Ford 1.6 EcoBoost engine.

What has been done to this crankshaft

• Checked - inspected for damage, scoring and wear across every journal before it goes on the shelf.
• Polished, not reground - the journals are polished back to a clean bearing surface. Nothing has been machined away, so the crank is still at standard size.
• Standard journals - takes standard size main and big end bearings straight from the box.

Why standard size matters

A reground crank needs undersize bearings, which are harder to source and leave you dependent on the grinder having got the sizes right. A polished standard crank goes together with off the shelf standard bearings, exactly like a factory engine, and keeps every option open for a future forged build.
