The Hyundai i30N Clutch has proven itself to be a weak link after only 4-5 months from the Launch date.
The friction material has proven itself to be not upto the job of carrying the torque and power the gearbox system can handle Launch after Launch.

Pumaspeed have been making Clutches for over 20 years and have a reputation for taking a sensible approach to the upgrading of any clutch, The i30N is a Pocket Rocket and does not require an expensive harsh clutch with a heavy pedal feel, A Harsh Pedal can ruin the driving experiaence and can slow down the speed of the gear change.

This Clutch takes the i30N to the next level, we use a 20% stronger Pressure Plate but add a Hybrid material Plate with Paddle Buttons on the Flywheel side for added Grab but still using the Woven Friction Material on the Pressure Plate side for Smooth Engagment. -we recomend this for heavy Road use and track use.
