Most Turbo cars today run an Electric Blow off adapter,that adapter usually sits inside the compresor housing of the turbo.

So what can you do if you want to add a bigger turbo like a Garrett, Precision or similar aftermarket unit. ?
The answer is simple, you can relocate the Electric DV solenoid into this CNC adapter.
The central hole takes the boost
the side exit takes the vented boost to where ever you want to send it.( Normally back into the intake after the MAF Housing )

The Turbo Technics S280 uses this type of device of the ST180 as Does the Garrett GT and G Series
