Introducing the brand new Pumaspeed uprated clutch kit range to suit the Toyota GR Yaris!

The Toyota GR Yaris OE clutch has proven itself to be a weak link after only 4-5 months from the launch date. The friction material has proven itself to be not up to the job of carrying the torque and power the 4wd system can handle launch after launch.

Pumaspeed have been making Clutches for over 20 years and have a reputation for taking a sensible approach to the upgrading of any clutch. The Pumaspeed uprated clutch kit plugs a gap in the market for an affordable entry level performance clutch which can cope with all the additional torque and power found in lightly tuned stage 1 cars. This is also achieved without the crazy heavy pedal feel found in some competitor clutch setups, so whether your GR Yaris is a track day weapon, a weekend B-Road basher, or your daily driver, this clutch will suit your driving style perfectly.

 

So what's the difference between this and the Pumaspeed Competiton clutch range?

Pumaspeed Uprated: Our entry level unit offers a stronger red coated cover plate as standard. Designed to be an OEM+ upgrade it uses the best parts of the OE clutch and takes it one step further by offering a stiffer cover plate for coping with extra torque, plus a revised construction of the material to cope with the extra heat and friction generated by lightly tuned cars. Light near OE pedal feel. Recommended use: Standard and Lightly Modified Cars (280bhp+)
Pumaspeed Competition: Offering a range of competition spec clutches to suit a wide range of power levels and uses, this is the must have clutch range for both heavily modified cars, or cars with track/drag use in mind. Despite their immense strength, you still retain a sensible pedal feel that could be used as a daily driver. Recommended use: Heavily Modified Cars (300bhp+)

*We recommend the purchase of a new slave cylinder when replacing any clutch as it requires no additional labour to fit. A new dual mass flywheel is also recommended on higher mileage cars where the existing flywheel face is badly scored*

*We strongly advise a 300 mile break-in procedure to ensure the clutch and flywheel mate together as well as possible and to not cause premature wear on your new clutch*
