Introducing the brand new Pumaspeed uprated clutch kit range to suit the ST Mk8 Fiesta and ST Puma!

When tuning the 1.5 EcoBoost found in the Mk8 generation of Fiesta ST and Puma ST, getting tonnes of extra power and torque has never been an issue for the guys at Pumaspeed and MAXD. However, getting the power delivered to both front wheels has sometimes been an issue with the stock clutch setup which is almost at it's limit at stage 2R levels of 275bhp.

The Pumaspeed uprated clutch kit plugs a gap in the market for an affordable entry level performance clutch which can cope with all the additional torque and power found in lightly tuned stage 1 and 2 cars. This is also achieved without the crazy heavy pedal feel found in some competitor clutch setups, so whether your ST is a track day weapon, a weekend B-Road basher, or your daily driver, this clutch will suit your driving style perfectly.

 

So what's the difference between this and the Pumaspeed Competiton clutch range?

Pumaspeed Uprated:
Our entry level unit offers an optional stronger red coated cover plate. Designed to be an OEM+ upgrade it uses the best parts of the OE clutch and takes it one step further by offering a larger material plate for coping with extra torque, plus a revised construction of the material to cope with the extra heat and friction generated by lightly tuned cars. Light near OE pedal feel.
Recommended use: Standard and Lightly Modified Cars (200bhp+)
Pumaspeed Competition:
Offering a range of competition spec clutches to suit a wide range of power levels and uses, this is the must have clutch range for both heavily modified cars, or cars with track/drag use in mind. Despite their immense strength, you still retain a sensible pedal feel that could be used as a daily driver.
Recommended use: Heavily Modified Cars (250bhp+)
 
 

*We recommend the purchase of a new slave cylinder when replacing any clutch as it requires no additional labour to fit. A new dual mass flywheel is also recommended on higher mileage cars where the existing flywheel face is badly scored*

*We strongly advise a 300 mile break-in procedure to ensure the clutch and flywheel mate together as well as possible and to not cause premature wear on your new clutch*
