Who it is for. The step up from an ATV winch: side-by-sides and UTVs, lighter 4x4s and pick-ups, boat trailers and car trailers. 6,000 lb pulls a 2-tonne car onto a trailer, drags a UTV out of a rut, and hauls a boat up the bunks, and it does it from a winch that fits where a 13500 will not.

Why this one. A universal mounting plate is in the box, so it bolts straight onto a trailer A-frame or bumper. Two wireless remotes (about 100 m range) and a dash or handlebar rocker switch give you control from the seat or from a safe distance. The dynamic brake holds the load the moment you release the switch.

Rope or cable? Synthetic rope floats and is the choice for boats, trailers and anything you handle by hand. Steel cable with the roller fairlead for yard and plant use.
