This brand new DSG Stage 1 version of Maxd-Out's infamous TCU gearbox flashes contains a super safe gearbox calibration designed to work in perfect harmony with a completely stock car or one with a stage 1 engine map.

Building on the guys at Maxd-Out many years of experience tuning VWs of all shapes and sizes, the DSG calibration has evolved from the comprehensive understanding we already have of the intricate world of VW tuning. Don't confuse this with the more generic 'off the shelf' calibrations some companies can provide, these are bespoke, and relentlessly refined files with hours of dyno time behind them, they truly are world class calibrations!

We now have the MAXD TCU flashes available via two methods, workshop fitted at Pumaspeed HQ in Wakefield, or DIY fitted via the iFlash tool, available to purchase as an option above.

As with anything however there are good and bad ways to recalibrate the gearbox to work with the engine rather than against it. Many people achieve this by simply tricking the TCU's torque calculations and interventions, which unfortunately can result in premature wear on the gearbox, and ultimately gearbox failure.

Ignoring the risks of premature wear and failure, the DSG needs to be recalibrated to perfectly match the new engine characteristics. In other words matching shift points, upgrading shifting speeds and increasing the torque capacity to fully utilise your Golf Rs potential!
