Pumaspeed are constantly pushing the performance boundaries of the Fiesta ST so it's no surprise that we are the first performance tuning company to break the 320bhp barrier on the new 1.5 EcoBoost.

There are different tuning packages available for the Fiesta ST, whether you're after a simple bolt on Stage 1 package for your newly purchased hot hatch, or you're looking for the ultimate 300+bhp track weapon, you've come to the right place, the home of Fiesta ST tuning.

Below are the all important dyno results, from our extensive research and development work over the past 12 months, that you can expect from the Pumaspeed ST315 power package. Run on 99RON Shell V-Power fuel, these are realistic UK figures for both Fiesta ST Mk8, ST Mk8.5 and Puma ST models fitted with our X47 hybrid turbocharger.

We understand how daunting it can be selecting the correct intercooler or induction kit for your car so we have simplified this stage 3R package deal with our recommendations below.

This ST320plus kit includes the following by default:

- X48 hybrid turbo (Including Turbosmart Actuator)

- R-Sport stage 2 intercooler

- Ramair induction kit

- Milltek non resonated GPF delete

The options explained:

Hybrid Turbo - The incredible X47 hybrid turbocharger from Pumaspeed has pedigree in its blood and is designed to help the 1.5 EcoBoost ST engine found in Mk8 ST Fiesta and Puma ST breathe properly, allowing for 320 plus bhp to be made. It is manufactured with cut back exhaust blades, a newly designed 7 blade turbine wheel with extended tips, reverse rotation geometery, improved thrust bearing for better lubrication and thus, longevity, and a CNC machined re-profiled compressor cover. We at Pumaspeed have had the predecessor to this turbo (The X37) fitted to our own Fiesta ST Mk8 for over a year for development and testing. We then took this one step further and developed the larger X47 turbo which has been on the car ever since. After many many miles of road, track and dyno time, we can proudly say that the new X47 is bolt-on ready and will make over 310bhp with the recommended hardware and MAXD Stage 3 remap.
Pumaspeed Recommends: X47 Hybrid Turbocharger.

Induction Kit - The restriction of the standard airbox on the Fiesta ST has already stopped us in our tracks. The standard airbox is a little out of its depth when it comes to coping with the air flow demands of even the MAXD Out stage 2R mapping, we therefore recommend you replace the airbox with an induction kit adding much more induction noise when on the throttle, and an addictive turbo flutter when you come off the throttle. The Pro Alloy stage 3 induction kit takes this one step further by replacing the restrictive airbox hose and crossover pipe, ideal for upgrading to stage 3 and beyond at a later date.
Pumaspeed Recommends: Gemini Twin Induction Kit.

Intercooler - The intercooler from factory on the Fiesta ST is quite impressive, but for stage 3 power, a replacement intercooler is required to cope with the additional heat of the extra 115bhp. We recommend the R-Sport stage 2 intercooler as it offers a stock location solution despite having an additional 54% volume. Direct fit to all existing pipework with 100% alloy constuction, you simply can't get better for less!
Pumaspeed Recommends: R-Sport Stage 2.

Catalyst - The stock catalytic converter has been designed to cope with just 200bhp, when pushing past stage 1 power levels the cat temps will rise to a point where it will begin to cause damage to the internals of your stock catalyst, also due to the small pipe diameter they tend to be rather restrictive even if the internals are removed. When you upgrade to a decat or sports cat therefore you can remove this restriction and allow yourself to add the upgraded mapping and make your car more powerful. A decat gives the best value for money and as a byproduct you will gain more noise. A sports cat will allow you to flow more air just like a decat, and will give you a little bit more exhaust noise, but not as agressive as a decat will. A sports cat will however keep you fully road legal and pass an MOT.
Pumaspeed Recommends: Milltek Decat (motorsport use only) and Milltek Sports Cat for road use.

GPF Delete - When developing the MAXD Out stage 3 mapping for the Fiesta ST, we experimented with various exhaust setups. We found that removing the restrictive GPF and downpipe gained almost 10bhp back to back versus the stock setup. A GPF delete will also benefit you for a much better exhaust sound, but be aware that a non-res GPF delete is VERY loud when combined with the downpipe so we recommend a resonated GPF if you're going on track and/or like your neighbours!
Pumaspeed Recommends: Milltek Resonated GPF Delete.

Exhaust - For most customers, the exhaust will be the first thing to change on your new car, and rightly so, not only will it give more noise personalising the car to your liking, but it will offer a performance benefit too! To a certain extent, the larger bore the exhaust, the more exhaust gases you can flow and the more power you can make, however, go too far and you can lose power. Both Scorpion and Milltek make great sounding, well built systems for the Fiesta ST. The Milltek GPF back system is the quieter of the two available (when comparing the two valved systems, valve open) but also the more expensive option. Scorpion however do offer a non-valved system for those who like things a little 'too' loud which is cheaper than all others!

Mapping - The hot topic on every Fiesta ST owners mind, which mapping is best for me and my car? Ultimately it's a very straight forward question to answer, MAXD mapping consistently outperforms it's competitors in all aspects. With stage 3R you will see up to 300bhp on a lightly spec'd car and over 310bhp on highly spec'd cars with all available bolt on hardware. These figures are backed up by over a year of development work on the turbocharger unit and months of development work on our own orange wrapped Fiesta, independent dyno results and fantastic customer reviews.

The MAXD flash programmer gives you the flexibility to switch mapping, and return to stock mapping at anytime, all you'll need is a windows laptop. You also have the option of adding overrun/crackle to your stage 3R map, simply lift off the throttle and listen to your 1.5 EcoBoost burble, without harming your engine.
