Upgrade or replace your Focus RS Mk3 engine with this Genuine Ford Mustang High Output 2.3L long block, offering identical Block and Head casting numbers and the latest revision pistons,Rods and Head Gasket it offers a simple straightforward installation process. This is the closest you can get to a brand-new Focus RS Mk3 engine fully fitted anywhere on the market for less than the cost of just the RS long block from Ford Europe.

The later Focus RS blocks and the High Output Mustang crate engines are identical, all carrying the ‘G’ year designation, which corresponds to 2016.
This means you don’t need to worry about these being lower-power units.
The earlier 2.3 Mustang engines (the 310 bhp versions) used blocks with casting numbers beginning with ‘E’, indicating 2015 production.

What do we do and how long does it take ?
First of all you need to arrange for the vehicle to be driven or sent to us, we can arrange collection via car transport service of required, simply call and ask for a quote.

Step 1. We remove your old motor from the vehicle
Step 2. We take a Brand New Ford H/Output Crate motor,

1. We remove the inlet manifold that only suits the RWD application and swap it for the original 4x4/FWD from your Focus RS Mk3 ( or add a cast alloy unit.)
2. We remove the RWD sump pan and pickup and replace it with either a Road Specification Stock Ford 4x4/FWD Sump or The Track Specification Pumaspeed Baffled sump, Pickup Spacer and Balance shaft delete that stop any oil surge or starvation.
3. We take the Billet Turbocharger from the new engine and swap the internal billtet core into your own Focus RS Specific exhaust housing and compressor housing.
4. The block is then machined as indicated above to match the focus RS unit to allow the PTO / 4x4 unit to fit.
   No internal modifications are required. All block and head castings match the original Focus RS Mk3 unit.

Step 3. We install all the reusable components such as alternator, flywheel, Clutch etc back onto the new engine
Any clutch or flywheel changes or upgrade can be carried out in the above Step 3, at no additional labour costs.
Step 4 The New Motor is then reinstalled back into the car.
Step 5. The Vehicle has its oil system primed and is hot tested in the workshop first to check for any fluid leaks ( alloy radiators are becoming fragile so we static presure test the coolant system for 30 mins
Step 6. Final On Road Testing

We have a limited supply of these Genuine Ford OE engines as a one off scoop purchase Part number LR3E-6007-BA / M6007-23TA-HO, if you require something a little more powerful we do have a list of Fully Forged units available e can supply as an alternative.
