Silverstone this weekend: the #11 Fiesta ST150 heads into the season finale
Round 7 of 7 in the BRSCC Durley Garage Fiesta ST150 Challenge is at Silverstone International on 10-11 October. After the best weekend of his first season at Snetterton, Daniel McQuire and the blue Pumaspeed-backed #11 go into the last two races of 2026 with a top-seven finish in the standings still on the table.
The #11 on the grid. Two more standing starts to go this year.
Where things stand
The provisional table after Snetterton has Daniel eighth overall on 360 points after dropped scores, 14 behind Colin Smith in seventh and 30 clear of Marc Webb in ninth. With two races to run, seventh is reachable and eighth is far from safe, so the finale matters in both directions. At the front, Daniel Robinson leads the championship by a distance from Robbie Harrison, with Michael Blackburn and Spencer Lane behind them.
Form is on the #11's side. The last four races produced 5th, 4th, 6th and 4th, the race-four result just 1.198 seconds off the win, and the car has finished every race since Cadwell Park in August. The full race-by-race report from Snetterton, including the season's two DNFs, is here.
The job this weekend
Silverstone International is a different layout from the Grand Prix circuit the ST150s raced in May, when the field shared a grid with the Fiesta ST240s and Daniel took second and fourth in class. It is a fast, open circuit with long straights into heavy braking, which in a one-make series means slipstreaming, late braking and a lot of cars arriving at the same corner together. Qualifying position and a clean first lap will count for a great deal.
The target is simple: two finishes, both inside the top six, and the car back on the trailer in one piece. Do that and the first season ends with the #11 in the top eight of a championship it started from 16th on the grid.
Daniel strapped in. The #11 runs Nankang AR-1 tyres on Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels, both available from Pumaspeed.
