Here at Pumaspeed, we are always on the look out for new brands and parts to try and test so that we can always offer the highest quality upgrades for your pride and joy. New to us is the GFB (Go Fast Bits) DV+ for the 1.6 Ecoboost engine. You might have heard of the brand through watching Mighty Car Mods on Youtube. These little pieces of precision Aussie engineering have proved incredibly popular down under and now they have found their way to the UK.

GFB's moto is an inspiring one, but what exactly are they talking about? We all know that the standard electric DV valve is nothing out of the ordinary, but as with most standard parts, it is flawed. The OEM DV valve is only designed to be used on a standard car, and even at a stock level it's performance isn't perfect. It's operation is fast, but it's fragile diaphragm lets it down completley. Even though you might not notice the standard part will leak boost. The car will also suffer a small amount of "lag" when coming back onto boost after letting off.
By replacing the weaker internal parts the DV+ enables you be straight back on the boost after lifting the throttle and will hold higher levels of boost for longer, ultimatley producing more power. This is especially apparent when running one of our X-Series Hybrid or Garrett turbos. After a few tests on our own demo cars we don't just recommend running one of these, we would say it is an essential upgrade to make the best of your Fiesta! Whether it's standard or tuned this pocket money spend will yield real results for a great price.
