We are expanding! New Sales and Media Assistant Required

The start of 2016 has been fantastic for Pumspeed. A new wholly owned 6000 sqft building has allowed investment into new facilities. The research and development team are now in Top Gear on many projects from the 350 bhp Fiesta ST to the new ST Diesel.
All this has allowed us to have a record breaking start to the 2015 show season.

Expansion and Restructure.
The new great brands R-Sport and MAXD-OUT Software have added significant volume to sales and have taken the company into many new areas. This resultant increase in sales has given the company a new focus on the global market place. The decision has been made to build the new company - a global platform by bringing in new staff and enchancing the current directorship with experience to deal with all new software and hardware developments. A new company has been set up to deal with the expansion programme and the older company closed so not to create any confusion.
For the trade and retail customers alike there will be no change to the normal processes, orders will be processed via website and via phone and in many cases as stock levels will be higher delivery times will be much faster.

To build on this new platform Pumaspeed the brand are expanding product lines and development and adding more staff to cope with the demand.
We are now looking for staff to help us build this new company.

We are now looking to bring the following new members of staff into the building:

Sales and Media Assistant

Job Title:  Sales and Media Marketing Assistant

 

The main purpose of this role is to ensure Pumaspeed is maximising its marketing potential through online marketing campaigns and effective communication whilst consistently cultivating, monitoring and managing sales generated via the website and identifying potential new sales opportunities.

 

Responsible to:                         Sales Operations Manager

External Relationships:          Clients and online connections

Internal Relationships:           Management and Operations

Salary:                                        Dependant on experience 

Hours:                                           50 hours per week

Location:                                      Pumaspeed office/warehouse

 

Main duties of the post:

 

  • Social Media
    • Design, create and manage Social Media marketing campaigns
    • Curate relevant content to reach the company’s ideal customers.
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
    • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
    • Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
    • Conduct online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotions.
    • Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts.
    • Oversee design and ensure brand consistancy (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog).
    • Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.
    • Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns.
    • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
    • Compile regular reports for management showing results (Return on Investment – ROI)
    • Check all FAILED transactions - email with 'incomplete order' template
    • Check all QUOTES to find potential sales - Email/text/call
    • Check all WISHLSTS to find potential sales - Email/text/call
    • Check all CARTS to find potential sales - Email/text/call
    • Forum Work - FIESTA ST /FIESTA ZS /FIESTA RS - PM, check threads, snoop for business
    • Keep updated on new products - Trade, Magazine and Forum contact awareness
    • Transfer ebay purchases
    • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business.
    • Report notable threats to the management team.

 

  • Marketing
    • Map out and agree (with Management team) marketing strategy and then drive that strategy through the business
  • Sales
    • Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer online reviews. Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly.
    • Set up new customer accounts
    • Provide pricing and delivery information to customers
  • Misc
    • Provide additional support to the Sales Operations Manager and team as and when required.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Experienced in effective use of Social Media platforms for business
  • Computer Literate to a high level
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • Ability to work efficiently and respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Experience in resolving customer issues either directly or by means of delegation.
  • Experience in keeping accurate detailed records – attention to detail is essential.   Some experience of CRM would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the High Performance industry an advantage
  • Flexible attitude to work is essential
