A&K McQuire Ltd T/A Pumaspeed aim to ship in stock orders within 2-3 working days, with expected delivery being within 1-3 working days to UK mainland and up to 7 working days for international orders from the date of shipment.
A&K McQuire Ltd will endeavour to keep you updated on any non-stock items ordered that are on back order for more than 10 days. A&K McQuire Ltd shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to achieve any delivery or other date, all dates being estimates only.
Warranty
All parts sold by A&K McQuire Ltd are for motorsport and racing use only and do not carry any warranty unless otherwise stated.
All unfinished products (i.e. GRP products and bodykits) do not carry the same warranty and guarantee as they are classed as an unfinished product and supplied in a form to allow the customer or nominated third party to paint or coat to the desired finish.
All guarantees for products are provided entirely by the manufacturers/UK importers and are subject to terms contained therein. Purchasers are reminded to complete and return all warranty cards/documents upon receipt of goods where appropriate.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on location and weight of the product including packaging, volumetric weight if applicable, necessary insurance coverage and handling charges. You can view the relevant shipping charges to your chosen destination easily by adding any product to your shopping cart. Below the cart you will see a table of applicable shipping charges. Importation tax charges are not prepaid by A&K McQuire Ltd, please make sure you are aware of your local taxation rules.
Tax Charges
A&K McQuire Ltd is registered in Great Britain for VAT, VAT Number 212145754. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current UK rate. When you are ordering from outside the UK, A&K McQuire Ltd remove the UK VAT from the cost of the item. Please be aware that your local taxation rules may apply.
Limitations upon Liabilty
Advice given by agents or servants of this company during telephone/Internet orders is based entirely upon information given by the purchaser with no inspection undertaken. As such, all advice given is indicative only and all such advice should be checked by the purchaser prior to order. Where advice is given after visual inspection by agents or servants of this company, such advice shall amount to an opinion only. Additionally, goods supplied are supplied only to correspond to the purpose for which goods of that kind are commonly supplied and not alternative uses to which they may be put. No liability for failure can be accepted by this company for such alternative racing or motorsport use, amendment or modification.For trade buyers, the company is hereby excluded from any liability, howsoever arising, in respect of any express or implied condition, warranty or term, statement, representation whether statutory or otherwise, relating to the goods supplied. The trade buyer accepts that he is best placed to insure against losses which arise by virtue of any breach of this agreement and warrants that he carries adequate insurance in this respect.Goods ordered by the Buyer may not be compatible with vehicles which have been modified, adapted or altered. Where goods ordered by the Purchaser are not compatible by reason of modification, adaptation or alteration, the Company may accept such goods back into stock entirely at its discretion, and shall either issue a refund or credit to the purchaser except where goods are specifically ordered for the purchaser where no such refund or credit will operate.
Where goods purchased by the buyer are alleged to be defective, the purchaser agrees to return such goods to the seller for inspection and report (without the seller replacing the said goods prior to such inspection). The purchaser also accepts that it is reasonable to inform the seller of any interruption, defect or other failure prior to contacting independent third parties or incurring expense and, in addition, to allow the seller to remedy the defect, failure or interruption. Parts modified or adapted by the purchaser shall no longer be warranted by the manufacturer nor shall the Company be liable for any failures resulting subsequent to modification as a result of such modification.
Competition goods are supplied for specialist use and are subject to extreme heat and stress whilst in use. Life expectancy and durability are greatly reduced and purchasers should note that any claim for failure/wear, shall not be entertained by the Company. It is acknowledged by the buyer of such goods that the foregoing statement shall be a relevant and important issue in any claim brought against the Company and the Company shall, in turn, place importance upon this clause. In addition, parts connected to parts supplied by this company may be placed under stress where specialist/competition parts are used, and purchasers should take advice from experts prior to purchase. Manufacturers may also limit guarantees when components are installed for competition use.
Where goods are defective, incorrectly supplied, delayed or otherwise in breach of the implied terms of the buyers statutory rights, all losses which result from loss of competition points, awards, loss of entry fees or other similar losses, are excluded and shall not be reclaimable from the Company. In addition, the company shall accept no liability for death or personal injury unless caused directly by the Companies own negligence.
No liability is accepted by the company where purchasers attempt to modify or install components supplied where it is known or ought reasonably to be known to the Purchaser that the part supplied is incorrectly supplied or otherwise not in accordance with the order.
A&K McQuire Ltd accepts no liability in respect of failure to supply or other interruptions caused by matters beyond the reasonable control of the company, including but without limitation, strikes, lockouts, civil disputes, acts of God, war or actions by third parties.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, nothing in this Agreement shall confer a benefit on any person or persons not named as the purchaser herein (for the purposes of the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or for any other purpose).
Cancellation
You have a statutory right to cancel and return your order within 14 working days of receipt. You may do this by sending an e-mail to support@pumaspeed.co.uk
When returning goods, please state your full name and address and the Returns Merchant Authorisation number (RMA) you have been issued with to identify your order. Any order returned to us without this information will be refused. You have until the expiry of FOURTEEN DAYS, including Saturday, Sunday, bank holidays and public holidays, starting with the day after the products are delivered, to contact us for your RMA number and return the goods. If you exercise your right to cancel, any money you have paid for your order will be refunded not including your expense of returning the products. All returns shall be returned at the Purchaser’s expense, unless damaged, incorrect or faulty. Any returns raised outside of the fourteen day period will be refused.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel, you must also take good care of the products until you return them and ship the product to us. All items must be returned unused in their original packaging and in a saleable condition. All returns must be well packaged to protect items from damage in transit. Any damage that occurs in transit to A&K McQuire Ltd will be deemed the responsibility of the customer and any costs arising from this will be charged to the customer’s account. All returns should be sent using an insured postal service. We do not accept proof of postage as proof of delivery.
Any stock order placed that has been correctly supplied by A&K McQuire Ltd and is subsequently not required can be returned to us unused, subject to a restocking fee of 15%. In this instance the cost of return carriage must be paid by the customer. A 15% restocking fee is also applicable to all and any orders which are cancelled after being placed, and the suppliers of A&K McQuire Ltd have charged for/sent the goods. All orders for custom parts, made specifically for the individual needs of the Customer cannot be returned or refunded.
Please note that A&K McQuire Ltd reserves the right to cancel or withdraw a product in the event of an unexpected price increase made by a supplier.
Inspection/Return procedures
The Customer shall inspect the products within 48 hours of receipt, such period being confirmed by Customer to be a reasonable period to examine the products for defects or shortfalls, and notify A&K McQuire Ltd promptly of any non-conformance. Failure to notify A&K McQuire Ltd within that 48 hour period will constitute acceptance of the products for all purposes. No product may be returned for any reason without the prior approval of A&K McQuire Ltd.

Tuning Boxes
For electronic programming goods, such as tuning boxes, whereby their operation connects them to a VIN / Chassis number, the goods are returnable for inspection, but we reserve the right to levy a charge for unlock/reset by the tune box manufacturer (which could be up to £150 plus VAT) and also a cost for any specifically written tune files (which could be up to £120 plus VAT per file).
Any product(s) returned to A&K McQuire Ltd shall become the property of A&K McQuire Ltd. If A&K McQuire Ltd determines that failure of the product(s) was not a result of a defective materials or workmanship within the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty, A&K McQuire Ltd reserves the right to charge the Customer for the product(s). We will advise the Customer prior to assessing these charges.
