Focus RS 500 Uprated at Pumaspeed Workshops
Pumaspeed has been upgrading the new Focus RS mk2 since their first development vehicle arrived in early 2009. From a basic 350 to a full blown 440 kit, Pumaspeed have fitted the kits in house or supplied mail order to all corners of the globe.
From Austraila and Brunei, to Martinique Mexico and the United States ,many Focus RS Mk2 owners have experienced the higher side of performance.
New on the list is the latest and greatest offering from Ford the limited edition RS 500. Seen here at the Pumaspeed workshops having the first part of high power upgrade.

the RS500 has a larger down pipe fitted as standard but unfortunatly the 70mm portion of the downpipe is only 100mm long and not full length which is approx 850mm.

Stage 3. Pumaspeed Injector Set and custom 440 remap.
Stage 4. Cast Alloy Inlet manifold.
The customer with be carrying out stage 3 and 4 when the weather conditions allow the power to fully utilized.
NEWSFLASH - A similar vehicle using virtually identical hardware a set of 650cc Bosch injectors plus the crucial inlet compatable 440 remap made 437 BHP in Finland.
