Fiesta ST180 X-37 Hybrid Turbo
Pumaspeed have spent a long time researching and developing the best ways to extract more power from the 1.6 ecoboost engine. With Stage 1 and 2 kits already under the belt it was time to explore options for a Stage 3 package and gun for the 300bhp figure. That is where the X-37 Hybrid Turbo comes in. On the outside it looks just like a stock turbo, but on the inside it's something quite different. Enlarged Turbine shaft, 54mm 7 blade compressor wheel, motorsport spec thrust bearing and Motorsport spec cut back blades. With these upgrades, the standard turbo unit is capable of 300bhp+!
With suitable supporting modifications, your Fiesta ST180 can make up to 300bhp with the X-37 fitted. The beauty of a Hybrid turbo is that it is a direct bolt on part, ensuring ease of fitting. Not only that, you wont suffer the same drawbacks as a bigger turbo upgrade. The low down torque and power isn't lost and you wont experience any noticable delay in turbo spool up. You wont loose any of your day to day driveability, but still have the outright power of a turbo upgrade.
