Pro Alloy ST/RS Style 400 bhp Intercooler
Previously I had the K&N replacement element in the standard airbox system, although it saves on service costs over the original it didn’t give noticeable performance gains. I kept this for about 6 months and then found the Pumaspeed K&N Intake kit. The offer of improved airflow and increase in performance made me make a few more enquiries and eventually I bought it.The positioning of the filter took a little bit of work but fitting the kit was straight forward enough, it’s reassuring to have a metal bracket securing the filter in place.After running the ECU through it’s learn mode the initial exhaust pops and judders have smoothed out. The car now pulls strongly right through the rev range, the increase in torque and induction noise is noticeable and even the standard recirc dump valve is louder.This kit gives a noticeable performance increase over the original airbox system.Paul - Berkshire
