The new Ecoboost Fiesta ST180 is a very simple car to tune, it delivers safe reliable power with few very simple basic modifications.
Don't for one second think that this pocket 1600cc EcoBoost engine is too small for Fast Ford Fans, the power and torque Pumaspeed can extract from this stock block motor will have you amazed. The new larger stage 2 hybrid ST fiesta turbocharger will push well beyond he stock turbo limit of 230-240bhp. With suitable hardware and the specially developed stage 3 Pumaspeed MAXD-OUT software recalibration we have seen over 275bhp (temperature, fuel and dyno dependent).

To ensure that the standard Diverter Valve can withstand the increased boost we highly recommend the use of the GFB DV+ with this Hybrid Turbo.

Will the engine survive this power increase?
The Stock Ecoboost motor can run well over 300 bhp with very little extra stress.   We have many stock 1.6 engines running well over 340 bhp with no long term affects

Will the Pumaspeed power kit sacrifice Longevity and Economy?
The MAXD-OUT Stage 3 mapping does not affect low level throttle input, so in turn will not affect economy figures. Of course when under hard acceleration the engine will demand more fuel to cope with the new flat boost curve and economy will be affected.
The datalogs provided show that we do not lift boost beyond the factory limits, we dont over spin the turbo, we just utilize the turbo to give it pressure in a much more controlled and accurate manner, so no issues with longevity.
